This book was freeing in so many ways. I found myself rewinding and bookmarking so I could return to key statements. I probably need a hardcopy. I’ve heard it’s watered down Buddha teachings, so this may not be for seasoned Buddhists. As an introduction, it’s good stuff.
I feel pretty foolish that I never looked into Bob Larsen since I’ve been a great Meb fan for more than a decade. This was a great read/listen about a very interesting coach and a great man. I really enjoyed how Matt Futterman wove his own story into it.
This book is very well done. Yes, it is long and it does get into some political minutia, but it is a really comprehensive view of Putin…his ‘accidental’ rise to power and his iron grip on a country who’s now looking to undermine Western democracies. Even though Putin is an accidental Czar, he is ruthless..
Definitely not the beginners’ edition but if you want the Bible of Budism, I’d say this is pretty close.
Lots of stereotyping of coders discussed, and history is presented however lacks a main theme or an action item. Leaves it all out there which is fine, but can’t say for sure I learned something new
A great book that every competitive rubber should read. It would have been even better if there author left out his personal vinyettes.
