Mental Models are one of the most important areas to study for well-rounded knowledge. This (audio)book does a fantastic job informing the listener of a very large number of mental models. The flow of the story is quite impressive as the narrative covers so many mental models while still sounding quite natural. I have read..
I really enjoyed this audio book. The narrator is excellent and the various parts of Buddhism are explained in a very straight forward way. Thich Nhat Hahn is an excellent writer and extremely knowledgeable. I just finished reading two other books on Buddhism and this is in my opinion one of the best ever written.
I learned an incredible amount of actionables in the first hour. This book is worth 100 times more to me than what I paid for it. Great work on the audiobook!
This book presents a well reasoned, evidence-based argument for taking a different and scientific approach to human behavior both individually, as small groups, and even (or perhaps especially) as nations. The philosophy and science presented is compatible with any faith (or absence of) so long as the reader/listener is willing to consider all the ideas presented..
This book is great, read really well, recomended., fuck you audioable that I have to write 15 words for submitting this
good for those considering the world of coding for themselves or their children, sharing prospects, insights into work environments, personality fits, and resources.
As a 33 year old software engineer living in Silicon Valley, I can honestly say that this is one of the few accurate descriptions of who coders are.
I listened at 1.5 and did not have a problem following along. Overall I found this book to be informative and entertaining. I just wish it would of been less political, which I thought took away from some of the main points.
