Even for a genre veteran this was a tough listen. The author’s attempt to create a historical and systemic analysis of serial murder gets overwhelmed with hideous detail. The saving grace is deglamorization of crimes and their investigation.
If you listen with open mind and try to avoid your pre-conceived notions, you will gain much from this work. If not, you will not.
This was a good overview of the history of quantum theory and helped explain the gist of the experiments and theories and their evolution over time
This is a modern Day Texas Ranger book. The drug Cartel has crooked cops working with them. Sonny Hawke goes across the border trying to find the people responsible. There on the border bringing drugs across. I enjoyed this book but it’s hard to keep up with all the bad guys and who’s who. Trust..
This book taught me a lot about mental health care in the United States. Thank you for painting such a rich picture of the victims (Jennifer also taught me a lot). I also felt compassion for the perpetrator at one point, until I found out exactly what he did. Further, I hate our criminal justice..
The choice of narrators kinda messed it up. Changing that would change a lot. The storyline was good and speaks to those who prefer age gaps
A fun ride, but suspension of disbelief is occasionally difficult. The crusade against a huge drug cartel by the protagonist and his close associates pushes against the bounds of rationality. Also, there is off-screen action that is alluded to but the results of which are never really seen. This book is about action, not really..
