I really enjoyed listening to this. The story is fantastic and kept me interested. The narrator took a little getting used to. She reads in a very bored tone. But starts to get more animated as you get farther into the story

This was a different paranormal romance than I’m used. The main character struggles to keep her secret and strike a balance with her demon as she continues to find herself in situations that jeopardize both goals.
While you wouldn’t have to read the first book to follow the story, several characters from it feature prominently and there are more than a few references to events in the first book. I would highly recommend reading My Life as a Country Album before My Life as a Pop Album. I think the concept..
