I liked this book quite a bit. The narration was excellent as well! The narrator paused mid sentence often, but it wasn’t too distracting. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving an unbiased review of my own volition.
This is a perfect example of a narrator taking something and making it his own. The characters had fresh life breathed into them. The humor was pitch perfect. And the words “devil’s dick” were delivered with hilarious, unflinching perfection. That’s no small feat!Tons of fun. Highly recommended.
I did enjoy listening to this short book about an orphan street urchin Jimmy and his best bud of Grumps and their adventures with good narration. There are laugh out loud moments and sad one. Also enjoyed the characters of Mama and her daughter, now onto next one. I was given this free review copy..

I am totally hooked on this series, l have been binge reading/listening and really looking forward to book 5. There are so many good things about these books, how the author writes, the characters, the narration, the large size and how the story really captures you. I recommend this series.

This is an entertaining military Sci-Fi novel with plenty of robot and infantry combat. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was getting tired of Sci fi genre and Hawk brought me back.
The book sets itself out to be in the gamelit genre, and unfortunately, there seems to be only lip-service paid to it. As far as the story itself, it’s a good one but the narration suffers a bit from there being too many characters and not enough voices.
