Excellent book with great narration. Definitely worth the time to listen to it. Very entertaining.
Great Narration
Review from The Haunting of Hotel LaBelle →
This was really kind of silly. I didn’t feel any kind chemistry between Lucius and Tallulah, but the sex scene went on and on, until Tallulah went crazy after Lucius called her by another woman’s name. Yeah, I can’t see that working out in his favor. This could have been a decent paranormal book, but..
I couldn’t wait for the book to be done. It just dragged! I want to say it’s just an okay book, but really I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
This book was almost a two star one for me because I saw no real chemistry between the two main characters. This book has a very comical feel to it and I couldn’t decide if it was the actual book or how the narrator interpreted the book. The storyline went off some tangents that were..
The story is good. Narrator not suited for this. A white noise kept switching back and forth between characters. Wish I could have finished it. I liked the way the story was going.
After Book 1 in the ‘Hotel LaBelle Series’, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book. Let me start with the narrator, Jeffrey Hutchins. There are a number of Native American characters and Mr. Hutchins did an admirable job, not falling into stereotypes and instead imbuing each character with their own voice. I found..
I love Fanny the pug. Any dog in a book is great and Fanny is a hoot. I also like her owner, Tallulah Thomspon, although the fact two major things about her were withheld until the last chapter was irritating. Maybe I should have seen them both coming, and it’s my bad I missed them..
A gripping tale of drug dealers, human trafficking and a cult. Elements of supernatural. angels and demons. It kept me interested.
I found this one a little hard to get into and stay into, but it was pretty good overall. I have not read or listened to the previous book in the series, but it didn’t affect my understanding of the story.
I really enjoyed this novel. The blend between Native American genres, adventure, and romance were nicely woven for the reader. Buchbinder (author) allows the reader to feel as though they are transported in Montana and Wyoming, along with the characters. The reader was good too, which makes the story in audible very enjoyable.
