A rather technical, yet personal, journey through the development of AI from the perspective of the author.
This book seems like it could be good but I’m just not getting into it. Sometimes it seems like it is the writing but I don’t care for the narrator.
This is the story of an extremely privileged young man floating carefree through life with the help of an omnipotent AI. The main character faces almost no real struggle in this story. Even a near-fatal incident is dealt with in about 20 seconds, with no long term consequences. In the end I wound up listening..
