God, I wish I could’ve have talked with my grandfather about his service in WW2. He never opened up about it, and I was too young to understand how to ask. This book is like hearing him.
This book is full of amazing history told from the mouths of the men that made that history. In my own small community we have lost many of our WWII veterans in the past few years. I regret not talking to them more about their time in Europe and the Pacific. Thank you for capturing..

I’ve noticed many of the behaviors described from this book in my own son and have been trying to use the advice given and so far it has helped me see a new perspective. I’ve taken some steps back and they are for the better.
