Hours and hours of nothing but escape and evade. It got truly annoying after the first three chapters.

God, I wish I could’ve have talked with my grandfather about his service in WW2. He never opened up about it, and I was too young to understand how to ask. This book is like hearing him.

I’ve noticed many of the behaviors described from this book in my own son and have been trying to use the advice given and so far it has helped me see a new perspective. I’ve taken some steps back and they are for the better.

Decently written and likable characters and a tense, claustrophobic story with a lot of well done research on Navy procedure. If you’re looking for some schlocky, creature feature fun, this is the book for you!
