While better focused on the Chinese perspective of historical events it still feels like a western view/interpretation of the Chinese view. Solid history though but did feel a bit rushed at the end as it covered this past century.

Don’t get me wrong the book is fantastic content wise, I just had to fight my way through cos it was not gripping for me. Might be different for you though! Definitely buying hard cover to be able to get back to it and use it as a Bible for marketing to the affluent.
