A little survival story , but really a tedious religious tale! Goes on and on with a religious kook tempting fate

I’m sooooo glad to be able to listen to one of my favorite series when I was a teenager. Mack Bolan, Carl Lyons, Gadgets Schwartz, and Rosario Blancanales, the start of Able Team.

It says it was narrated by a person, but it sounds super robotic which is unfortunate given the topic; frankly I found it very distracting. Bummed because I really felt the subject is worth the listen, but took a lot to keep listening. Ugh!

Hard to capture so much concisely but the author did. Great context for framing modern China’s rise. BUT if you are gonna have s book about China the reader should learn how to pronounce the names. It’s not rocket science. Take 20 minutes to figure it out

The narrator was monotoned. I like the organization of the book. I like his ideas of democratizing corporations like co-ops. I agreed with his criticism of capitalism and how socialist countries failed because they were actually state capitalists. Very thought provoking. Read with an open mind.

The bondage breaker was very encouraging. It gives good direction on seeking a relationship with Christ and walking out of areas of bondage in our life.
