I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The title first caught my attention – I am a sucker for anything Greek Mythology related. Oh dear author, you know my heart’s true love and you don’t even know me. The book started a bit slow…
Got to say that it was better than I was expecting. The narrator could have been a bit more distinctive between the voices, but overall nailed it. Highly recommend the story!
Great story the transition from a spy novel to supernatural was well done. The feeling of claustrophobia really sets as things get tense towards the Latter half of the story. It was fast pace scary and well written. I definitely worth a listen to.
I used to have sacks of the paper back books of this series and Phoenix Force. So happy to see them on Audible. Just pre ordered Miami Massacre.
Four strangers with seemingly nothing in common are pitted against one another using their nightmares as fuel. While they must struggle to face their internal demons, what’s waiting for them upon waking is far worse. While the book was a little slow in the beginning, I stuck with it, and I’m glad I did. When..
Both the supernatural parts and the submarine spy stories were good. Only a couple of “what are they doing !! “ moments that all horror stories seem to suffer from. I listened to the entire book non stop. Worth a credit. Definitely worth a listen for free.
Disappointing that for a book about the history of China, not one person in the production of this audiobook would have thought, ‘hey maybe we should find a reader who can pronounce the place and emperor names properly?’ Pretty shameful
