The author does an excellent job of describing the issues that parents face, and not just those boys who are underperforming in school. The techniques offered to assist motivating boys and to interact differently with your son in a way that helps provides hope that parenting doesn’t have to be such a daily intense struggle.

I don’t read much, this was the first book I can honestly say that I have completely finished in YEARS. it has a great story and constantly has new ideas and obstacles to keep you interested.

Currently raising three teenage boys, 15 year-old twins and a 14 year old, I purchased the book for issues we’re having with one of the boys. I enjoyed this 2nd book more then the first. characters are fleshing out and narrator has become adept at nuances of many voices. sarcasm doesnt always come through the best. Looking forward to the next book in Morgans quest for who he is.

The initial idea of this story is creative. However the author makes some very basic mistakes in that his world is that without much emphasis or development. You can see inspiration from other RPG‘s but he never defines the rules of the game or what exactly is going on. For example do you mean protagonist..
