love how they expanded the story and to see get a glimpse of what you will see in book 3. I am so excited for the next book.
I discovered this book purely by happy accident. It was captivating from the opening right to the end. It is a thrilling narrative, but more than that, we have the chance to sit alongside Jim Crigler on his journey to discover the true meaning of honor and character
Good information on the status of the armies during and after Gettysburg. Meade was put in a near impossible position and preformed admirably. This is a good addition to the record that honors his service.
The book is sensitively and honestly written. Although the missions in 1972 were not as intense as before the war was winding down, they were non the less dangerous. But, this book is also about the role of Warrant Officers and their roles flying helicopters. I was one of the last Warrants in the Air..
The characters make this story and story is very original for me and I am very much enjoying it and looking forward to more. The audible version does a great job bringing it to life
I have never seen a MC this dim, His choices make no sense and would lead to a lot more issues than anything else, Basic common sense seems to be lacking in his head. Who the hell does not know you don’t look into a medusa’s eyes? And then the people around him act as..
Need to use names not numbers even if they’re substitute names. 🙂👍 Overall I might listen again but….
Very thorough story, not just of the title incident, but the history of the ship, the airplane, the people, and even Japanese-American relations. The surprising part of the story is got little anyone seemed to care about the lost nuclear weapon, other than covering up its loss. Recommended.
Great story, totally draws you into the story,If you like historical fiction this is truly well done.
