Not my cup of tea, there was never any tension or stakes of any kind. Hearing dumb quips and one liners in the middle of what’s supposed to be a gnarly space battle or firefight is just annoying after 50th time.

Loved it. I just wish the author would continue the storyline. This was published in 2020 but no follow-up yet.

I will do the same thing for the vets in my family. Very cool indeed.

A good story and would make a very good series. Though the issue I have with it was the story move very slow. In fact, I put this book away for about a month before I came back and finished it. it is a very good story and has some good plot elements.

This series has everything. I enjoyed the characters, the whit, the premise, all of it. Narration was to notch.

Although there were some areas that were predictable, it was a wonderful story about Faith love perseverance hope family forgiveness. While there are some pieces of good advice here, this book reccomends endless additional systems with complicated bookkeeping which will bog down your game without providing tangible value. You would be much better served by reading a book like return of the lazy dungeon master, which will focus on getting you the most bang for..

I picked this book not really knowing anything about it and enjoyed every minute of it. Now I have to wait for the next one tocomme out on Audible.

I stopped listening at chapter 10. The book’s not terrible, but I realised I’d spaced out for 20 minutes and not missed much of anything.
