There was a lot that went great with this book. But it did turn into a slice of life. Unless the author can get the characters a will to power, it will continue to be a slice of life.

Five excellent novels, completely crapped on by an abrupt and no-resolution (to three or four major & minor plot lines) ending. Honestly, I feel cheated.

it’s like listening to my grunt veterinarian and active military friends telling me a story again. Except it’s hours of fun rather than short ones.
Premise could be very interesting but overall the pace is slow and the action level low. Doesn’t make become appealing overtime. Feels like the author started with an interesting premise then had no where to go.

Mr badass himself! Not sure what year these books were written but in my opinion it is pre2000 . With today’s camera technology and saturation a guy doing this kind of work would have a hard time sneaking around.The Don Pendleton executioner series was written by men for men who want serious action.
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I am not a harsh critic. I am satisfied with an audio book if I am entertained. I don’t judge the author based on anything other than if I was entertained. This book definitely does that. I like the characters and disliked some of them as you should…

Andy Biggio did an incredible job capturing these heroes and history. The book is a must read for all to better understand our history and the GREAT men who fought through so much.
All of the plot holes and odd decisions by the antagonists could be ignorenif the reader was 10 years old. Jack uses micro cameras to “win the day” but none of the obvious antagonists have a clue. His AI systems are super intelligent and powerful for no other reason than he is nice to them…
the premise has some promise but after 6 hours of listening there have been 2 woman introduced and both are nothing but sex objects for the MC.
