I love John Sanford’s descriptive writing, rich character development, and captivating story lines. This story though was too gruesome for me, at this moment in my life.

Fresh storyline. But not giving MC fun powers and skills to keep me interested was an epic fail. You got me here with the story line but disappointed me with giving me a boring MC. I quite the audible book with 6 hours left.

it’s like listening to my grunt veterinarian and active military friends telling me a story again. Except it’s hours of fun rather than short ones.
Premise could be very interesting but overall the pace is slow and the action level low. Doesn’t make become appealing overtime. Feels like the author started with an interesting premise then had no where to go.
