I disliked the narrator he tries too hard with some of the voices and lacks feeling with the rest
the story

The story is okay, but these books are quite short for an Audible credit. The whole series should just be one or two audiobooks. After having listened to several of these types of books I find them to all be about the same. They follow the same plot but with different circumstances and characters.
It’s a poor attempt to become an intellectual debate about pacifism and war. Nothing really entertaining about it. I couldn’t make it more than halfway through it before I deleted it.
I liked everything about this. The story, the reading, all of it. All Marines should read/listen to it.

it’s an ok story if you are 9 or 10 years old. the main character is perfect in all he does. so perfect that it makes him seem stuck up. there are no negatives in his persona so it lacks in any kind of realism. as a vetran of hard sci-fi technical and military it’s..
