Great info and really worth reading, but I had to buy the paperback (or e-bookwould work too) because there is no accompanying pdf as there should be for a book like this. 5 stars if they fix this.

I really enjoyed the book…only flinched when the narrator mispronounced “Bowdoin” every single time.
This book has a far leftist progressive slant, and has quite a negative view of American Christians. It is not responsible as the title implies. it’s good scholarship; but If you’re a conservative Christian or American, don’t bother. I’m gonna try to return it.

Great book that has inspired me to restart interviewing veterans again. I want to interview as many as possible have them sign rifles and helmets. My Primary focus is first to interview as many WWII vets.

It is hard to put a finger on what exactly is missing, something is. This is a good story, with solid narration, but there always seemed like there was more that could be done to add more flavor to the storyline. It is enjoyable, just not outstanding.
