Very thoughtful project by the author. A nice way to record the stories of our vets.
Great Read
Review from The Rifle →
Standby for modern day virtue signaling and pedantic story line. I bought this based on discount and I should still want my money back.
I really liked the setting of the novel. Trapped in a submarine with monsters is a great, claustrophobic environment. The story peaked my curiosity enough to watch some videos on that class of submarine which was actually a slight detriment to enjoying the novel. The real subs are so cramped that it really wouldn’t be..
This is a great book from start to finish. It’s non stop action but also gives the behind the scene details of the Tet offensive and what the men faced during this time of great adversity. These were the bravest of men. Shawn Compton provides the best narration.
Not as detailed as some other Vietnam Snipers’ stories but still a good honest account of a true hero. Thank you Chuck and Jim!
I really like this book and rarely leave feedback, but this book really opened my eyes to God’s love and learning my place as a sinning Saint in the Kingdom.
