This eye opening account of those who experienced World War II was beautifully written and brings the tragedy of war home to those of us who have benefitted from their sacrifice. I salute all of our veterans and stand in awe of their courage and dedication to our freedom. 🙏🇺🇸

What an honor to have this on audiobook thank you to everybody. A close friend was an F117 crew chief and we have always wanted to read this book and it’s always been out of reach until now. Read this along side of skunk Works documentary.

This book gives a lot of technical details without being boring. It’s not a history of the SR-71 more so a deep dive into how to fly it. The narrator was good, not monotone or hard to understand.

This is an amazing story of an irreplaceable aircraft. going through the checklists with the writer put the readers mind in the cockpit of the HABU. it is written in such a manner that you feel like you are flying and living the memories.
