This story unfolds from multiple perspectives and brings to light so many things to consider as AI inevitably becomes more and more prominent. The question of culpability goes beyond AI in this story – it also applies to family, love, loyalty, sense of purpose. This is one of my favorite reads of the year .

I liked this book, the themes and questions it raises. It is relevant, timely and authentic. The layered story keeps the reader guessing about what is going to happen, who is involved and what they did. Each character has depth. Their realities complex.

The connections of all the family members playing a part in the accident was really eye opening. As a parent of a young adult, it made me realize how much parents are often absorbed in their own lives and are not present. We have to do a better job of setting examples and creating boundaries.
