The context is delightfully vague and absurd with dinosaurs and flying orbs; but the plot is about the desperate remnants of humanity and their struggles to explore and survive one another. I wouldn’t have chosen this based on the book description. I happened to hear a review of the book on the news and that peaked my interest. There is more to this book than it seems. Give it a try.
