I would love to punch the therapist “doctor” in the face. None of the characters were likable. There’s no one to root for in this story. They were pretty detestable. The narration was atrocious. Both male characters sounded creepy and slimy. Absolutely don’t care to get the sequel.
This is a very disappointing chronology of the 1980’s and the “yuppie” phenomenon. This is mostly a NYC centered description of how baby boomers evolved into high end consumers – the narrative is anecdotal and relies on tired stereotypes.
