Too sappy/tries too hard

Review from June First →

I like taboo romance and this one tried too hard to justify the relationship. The language reads very sappy and unrealistic for the ages of the characters. Maybe it’s more for the sentimental type of reader but with its premise, I feel like it shoots for one audience and writes for another. A pity.

I loved this book so much! the narrators were wonderful too! What an amazing twist on beauty and the beast! I CAN NOT WAIT for the next book to come out next month! I hope the same narrators are used for that one too!!

Just bizarre

I had high hopes for this one after seeing so many great reviews on TT. From the very moment it started it was cringe. The story is a modern day beauty and the beast but there was no originality to it at all. There was soo much potential to this story but it felt so..

Great Start

Review from Bonded by Thorns →

The narrators were both exceptional, they made the experience exciting. The story left me wanting more, hopefully we will get more meat in book 2. I think the setup was nice but I’d like a bit more spice. Overall a great start.

Denial

Review from Bonded by Thorns →

Continuous denial in spite of constant clue-by-4s to the contrary. I am not a fan of a cliffhanger without full resolution, but this dumped any progress and went all the way back to zero before ending. Just made me sad.
