Where is the plot? This is just trope after trope piled on overly dramatic dialogue with a weak FNC.
5⭐️ 1🌶️ Tropes Forbidden Angst Tragedy Slowburn Dual pov 30 yr time span Thoughts If you like a good sad book, this is for you. Jh is the queen of heartbreak and this is the most painful yet. This book was so sad I had to take breaks while reading it because my eyes hurt..
Cleverly written. Story includes flashbacks, but chapters state whether they are past tense so following along on story line was no issue. Both narrators performed great and differentiated characters well.
I love the no dynamic barred story telling. I am absolutely enthralled and can’t wait for the next reading
Good enough if one doesn’t expect much but just want to be entertained. Won’t let teenagers read it though Didn’t agree with the age restriction
Booktok has disappointed me again. The similarities between this and Disney’s beauty and the beast was painfully cringy. It is essentially a poorly done, slightly smutty beauty and the beast.
If you like slow-burn, why choose, and fated fae mates then this is your book! ACOTAR was the last book series that caught me in and this one has done the same!! Woven by Gold is just as enthralling. Absolutely can’t wait for December for Forged by Malice.
This was literally just a horny Beauty and the Beast story with multiple beasts. A curse, an enchantress, roses everywhere, the heroine’s love of books….I’m not intrigued enough to continue the series.
I thought it was a little too cliché at first with how close to beauty and the beast it was. but once all the princess’ s were involved I love it. praying the second one hits audible soon
