The narrators did a great job, I just could not get into this story and DNF’ed at chapter 26. The direct quotes from BATB in the dialogue completely took me out of the story and felt lazy. Not enough going on in the plot to keep me interested.

this was a very unique storyline. it hooked me early. there are twists you won’t see coming.
I highly recommend if you want to dip your toes in romantasy. Easy to follow, likable characters, and well written.

Once I got used to the narration it was good. I was skeptical about the voices at the onset. I have enjoyed the listen though and feel it was a pretty good book!
