I skipped a few chapters and the story described finally got started! I’m glad I skipped ahead and read this book. My library has the next one so I’m happy I’ve found the series and the author!

5/5 Bloody Knives Have you ever wondered if a story can be a slasher and a rom-com at the same time? The answer is yes and if you’ve wondered that, you need therapy. Also, this is the story for you.

This entire series has been fabulous. I highly recommend reading in order. There’s such depth to the story without explicit sexual scenes. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in this series!

I couldn’t get past the third chapter. It was just so obnoxious. The cruelty and ignorance of her parents was not only unpalatable, but patently absurd.

This was a really interesting fantasy with great characters. I enjoyed it very much. The narration was also very good.

I really enjoyed the storyline, but it definitely would have been better had the voices been portrayed better. Man reading for men, woman for women. having the man immitate a female voice and woman immitate man was very off-putting.
