The story is cute but 5 hours of the girl and guy snapping the back and forth was a lot. No hints towards a plot. In hour 6 the reason for the their history was revealed. Wasn’t really worth the wait but the twist at the end was clever.

I ultimately couldn’t finish this book, even though I was nearing the end. What made it difficult to continue was the way the story portrayed its female lead. Characters were unbelievably immature. Ian was a self important jerk. Kelli was a total pushover. Each time I hoped she would grow a backbone she caved. The story was superficial. Couldn’t listen until the end.

I absolutely love her writing!! This is the third book I have read of hers, and I have been immersed in the characters and setting every time. This was a great story, and I loved Kelly’s stubbornness and Ian‘s persistence! Highly recommend!
