It’s a classic boy meets girl, girl falls in love, boy removes himself from her life for her own best interest, boy’s life goes off the rails until he finally wins her back. It was honestly a really sweet, feel-good romance. Hallmark-esque.

Excellent narration! Dark cowboy romance that makes it hard to put down! Insane revenge plots and twists makes for an excellent read!!
To be fair, I left at chapter 5, when, in my opinion, the protagonist should have flipped off the users that were maneuvering her. I don’t think the new boss can read the room. If you don’t have ick about this, the narrator is good and it was free.
