I love the mystery and the back story. it keptnme engaged. and I couldn’t turn it off.

There were way too many damsel in distress vibes and the plot literally stands still. There isn’t even really a cliffhanger. It just kind of ends at a bizarre place. Not worth the read.

excellent delivery of the book by the narrators. enjoyed the story as well. at some points it seemed a bit drawn out, but I enjoyed it overall and liken to Beauty and the Beast vibes.

This author writes the best romance with all the feels. Her books are long and detailed which I love. This story is no different. Nothing is rushed. Great spice paired with an intense story that will break your heart.

This book gave me such Wuthering Heights meets dark romance vibes! Kari knocked it out of the park with the twists and turns throughout the story.

Everything about this series brings so much emotions, but the way this book in the series brings so much emotion and shock is truly something unexpected. Leaves you wanting more immediately.

great character development, spice could be spicier but that’s a preference. I do wish the male narrator would switch up the voice a tiny bit more because sometimes I forget who is who when listening. BUT THE STORY IS PACKED WITH ACTION. MY GODS YOURE TELLING ME I HAVE TO WAIT FOR BOOK 5,6 AND..

Such a twist on a classic tale and I must say I am thoroughly enjoying it! On to book 2!

This was a beautiful story, one which I enjoyed immensely. I’d have to say my favorite aspect was the unique timeline that allowed us as readers to view through Lucian eyes and how his broken and otherwise unreliable pov added to the story.
