Its entretaining, but it was too much darkness to be believed. She packed everything at the end. It lacks the flow of nocticadia.

Absolutely in love with this one. In my opinion way better then the third book. Caught my attention from beginning to end!! Can’t wait for the next book!!
I’m not sure whether to cry bc I loved it so much or because this book devastated me in the best way. Jennifer always knows how to punch you right in the gut
This is a very dark Beauty and The Beast retelling. Fast paced I just didn’t care much for the story. Just ok.
I love the slow burn suspense of this series and how you can never guess where it’s going to end up! Definitely recommend for fantasy and romantasy readers alike!
Loved every bit and felt oddly connected with an FMC for the first time. Not a fan of “fletchy” the nickname or the person right now.

I wanted to love this book. Jennifer Hartmann has a clear plot in the books I have read of here’s thus far; Tragedy, trauma, PTSD, and self loathing. To a high degree, I can deal with these things as I have and still experience these. However, she takes self loathing to an extreme level, it’s..
