this was such a fun read, the audio wasn’t my favorite but the story was so good that it didn’t bother me. overall 4 stars!!

There was no real storyline; what could be considered the storyline was predictable. The characters were underdeveloped. The internal monologue was repetitive. If the book was half the length, cut out much of the dialogue and spent more time developing the characters, it would have had a chance of being interesting.

Do yourself a favor and do not bother with this book. Similar themes have been done way, WAY better. This one was just annoying. Instead of a plot it had the main character doing ridiculously self-sabotaging things to create “drama,” and it was just dumb.

A different kind of love story than I’ve ever read. Lots of feels. Some heartache. Good story telling.

I’ve listened to this twice now and it’s just as good the second time. I love a good retelling but enjoy seeing how the authors can use the original story and make it their own. This is one of my favorite Beauty and the Beast retellings and I can’t wait to see how they finish..
