I very much enjoyed the narrators as well as the story! An interesting take on a classic tale.
Delicious retelling

I was attempting to immersive read this and the physical book is different from the audio. Chapter 25 in the book was cut completely so the chapters in the audio no longer matched the book. Also, some lines were either cut or worded differently. Story itself wasn’t that bad though.
The story and narrators are amazing. The men are definitely dramatic and havd typical “I’m not good enough for you” vibes, but gotta love the classics. The main issue (not reeeeally an issue) is that the main problem for the book is fixed when the fmc has sex. If you are okat with foreplay only,..
The age gap wasn’t even what bothered me. Honestly, the references to children being abused was a little too much. The overall story was kind of was predictable when it came to who done it if you know what I mean. I wouldn’t recommend this book. Honestly kind of a letdown for a Kerri Lake..
This book was everything Archer’s Voice wishes it was. Sorry not sorry. It was so well written. I literally started crying at chapter 4 if that tells you anything. Definitely a very heavy book, but worth the read.
Unless you’re into women wearing collars, being submissive, having no self respect, and completely humiliated this is not the book for you. I kept going a few chapters and waiting for a storyline, but it’s basically about a man utterly controlling a woman for money and her completely disrespecting herself and allowing him to put..
Geez…. they alive, they dead, they alive again. It’s like they are playing heads up, seven up. But seriously, this author knows how to deliver spicy encounters. She conveys emotion so well. Valerie is a shattered mess throughout this book and I’m here for it.
Not a fan. Finished entire book only to be disappointed. I felt like it never really got anywhere. As soon as it ended I was shocked because nothing happens. I can’t recall anything I actually liked about the story.
I could not stop listening finished it in one sitting . I loved the plot twists and the voice actors *chefs kiss
FINALLY – We got some resolution to some of the threads of this story and a few more breadcrumbs to follow. I feel like the author reached a much better balance in this book. Book one and (especially) two were SO heavy on the angst, they about sucked the soul out of me. Book three..
