I loves this story, the characters, and the scenery. I like to both physically read the book and listen to the audio book. What I have found is the voice and energy of the narratoea can really make a difference and the cast was great.

Sweet small town slow burn
Review from Strung Along →
This was a really sweet small town romance. I love the angst and banter between Brody and Anna. I really liked how they “met” and became friends, while also getting off on the wrong foot and having a bit of an enemies to lovers vibe. Brody is grumpy on the outside and sweet & swoony..

I was so excited to read another Keri Lake book after reading Nocticadia (which I loved) but this was a truly unfortunate and disappointing book. I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Not only is the general theme not a romance, it is not a good story. Let me preface my criticism by saying that..
