If you like prior Carl tales, this will easily entertain even it feels a bit meandering/directionless at times. The main narrator (Hays) continues to show amazing VA skills. But the final audio quality is worse than before and it already wasn’t great in prior books. My utterly inexpert guess is the final result is a..
This is the second book in the series, and I didn’t find it as strong as the first, partly because the idea of cultivation in a novel was no longer new to me. The point that was made emphatically was that cultivation causes you to stink really badly as you push all the chi through..
Between the running jokes of the AI foot fetish to nipple rings to Sex doll neck holes, the crude humors is less shocking funny and more tires out boring . I will give credit that the author keeps making Donut act like a cat. That it makes one hate Donut and remember that cats are..
The mystery is slowly being pulled back, with another amazing performance from Jeff Hays and his two guest readers also bringing their A game, this book really comes to life. The were a few parts that made me laugh out loud but above all this was a way more serious book, I can’t wait to..
I am so addicted to this series. you are a very talented story teller. I look forward to the next book. Rock on my man, rock on.
It seems to me that the author is allergic to letting Lindon be better at anything than Yerin. Lindon has clearly progressed past Yerin, but the author just ignores that at the end of this book by breaking all his own rules! Very frustrated. I’ll finish the series, but this book was irritating!
By this point you know what type of book you’re getting into. And it does not disappoint, you will laugh, you will find parts gross, Carl will blow things up and come up with crazy schemes. Absolutely worth the buy keep up the great work
