G.O.A.T. story, God-tier narration. Some of the Samantha one liners had me laughing out loud.
Book 6 Going Strong
Review from The Eye of the Bedlam Bride →
Matt Dinniman’s first couple Dungeon Crawler Carl books were fun. The first three were absolutely excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Book four started introducing some heavier elements and some character backstory that added some more depth to the characters but unfortunately started dragging the books down. Book five was good and fun in parts..
Could do with the language being toned down a bit for sure. But the story line is amazing. Well done.
really wanted to enjoy this but just couldn’t get into it. very generic with a not so great narrator.
great series, great voice acting. I zipped through the first 6 books. some of these litrpg series have trouble striking a balance between the ridiculous and the serious but this one nails it.
Am I the only one who noticed it took the main character over a month to walk a hundred miles while it took his wife a day or so to find their other kid at school? Is there a timeline in the story? Very slow listen, and I’m sure the read is just as bad…
I left a detailed description on the first book. I cannot recommend this series enough. Read my earlier review, or better yet, shut up and get the audiobook already!
