Loved every second of it! The build up from the past books finally gets the pay off it deserves! About to start my re-listen.

Fun story for any rpg fan. Carl from earth and his cat princess donut get trapped in a live action D&D game run by aliens. Will Carl make it out alive in only his boxer shorts and bare feet? Come find out!

I really thought we’d have passed the “jump the shark” moment, by now, but despite the presence of a literal jumping shark wielding a flamethrower, this series manages to keep raising the stakes while still keeping me invested in all the characters and their personal tragedies and victories. An absolute triumph

Great story and so fun! I’m excited for the next book. Great to find a book series that is so well done and a just a wild ride. I recommend to anyone who loves rpg’s.

I enjoy the personalities of the characters, I especially love Donut, Mongo and all of the crazy characters

Performance has been consistent and good through-out the books so far. Really enjoying the world build and progressive story.

Dislikes….. Not a damn thing. this was perfect. I found dungeon crawler carl and got it as a time filler now it is obsession. I finished book 7. I need book 8. WHEN WILL I GET BOOK 8?

full of the usual hilarious one liners and crazy twists but add the voice of kronk to the mix and this might be my favorite audio performance of the DCC series so far.

There is so much context switching in the series that it isn’t clear to keep up with the main storyline. Like the other reviews mentioned… So many new characters are introduced to this book that it’s hard to remember all of them. I think I remember three. The author could have introduced the character gradually..
