Very good narration and premise, but the story is so tediously slow and inconclusive that I completely lost interest two thirds in. The main point of the plot keeps you waiting from the initial mission until it is finally revealed at chapter 29 – twenty-nine! and it also a total letdown, and the main character..

So it’s a DnD version of Venom with a mimic rather than an alien symbiote. Wanted to like it but main character is so oddly morally flexible and constantly contradicts himself it made it annoying. Anyway not my thing, but we all have different tastes…
Even though the story is great, but nothing amazing, the performance of the reading is fun and worth the listen.
Thank you for not swearing in this book. It was a delight to listen and would recommend to anyone.
This is an amazing addition to the series. This was a spectacular edition to the story and added so many twists and turns. it was tones of fun and it is truly amazing.

Love how immersive with these audio books. I cant stop listening. Boxy rocks! I find myself laughing out loud a lot of times each book.
I am hooked. Like a chain smoker, I would start the next book in the series as soon as that one ended. Finishing the series leaves a hole in your life that nothing can fill. The only thing that helps is starting the series over and then over again. Good luck thinking about anything else.
