I throughly enjoyed this Book! I was at first turned off by a handful of similarities with today’s political climate. I’m glad I decided to stick with it. I was a bit annoyed with the accent the narrator chose for the main character.
This series has me behind hooked. The depth of the plot and the twists and turns are wild! I’ve found myself wearing a headphones around the house just so I can keep listening. I could not be happier with this series.

Absolutely love seeing two of my very favorite narrators continuing to work together! This story did have some Dungeon Crawler Carl vibes and I enjoyed how Dinniman leaned into this with the occasional reference to that unsurpassed series. In fact, though I love Baldtree immensely, I think I would have preferred to hear Hays voice..
