Took me less than a month to get through all 7 books. These books may seem like just good dumb fun but there are definitely some good gut punches in there. Can’t wait for book 8!
A blast

What I love about this series is that it reminds me soo much of the beloved borderlands series. I know this is technically but it feels so much more like a heavy sci-fi with strong lit rpg elements. I got enraptured by this story so fast and I hope they make It into a movie..
I can’t believe how good this book is. Honestly, it is insane. The series has it’s own charm and allure that makes the series sparkle past the usual suspects like a solid plot, character growth etc. But the NON-STOP IN YOUR FACE PACE, HOLY SH!!! I’d put this up there with Wheel of Time book..
One of the best litrpg series there is, I’ve been disappointed by titles like He who fights with Monsters and others but Dungeon Crawler Carl is a no brainer , just buy it.
This was a fun read, but it is by far the worst book in the series. I returned the Graphic audio version to get this one. Its just better. I love the voice acting. My major complaints are: Carl has no real agency. He seems to get dragged from scene to scene so that other..
epic story of survival. amazing characters. hilarious imagination. I hope they make a move or series out of this.
Again and again, I was riveted to the chaos. Even after all this time I thought that I had forgotten the characters, but I slipped back into the story after chapter 2 easily. Good job, to all involved with this production. On to the next book .
I was really worried that this story would start slacking towards That’s part of the series and once we got the faction wars part of the book over with that there would be nothing to keep you entertained. but Matt deniman does it again and never disappoints definitely get this book a listen
Faction Wars is one hell of a party! Amazing work from Matt, and as always a Master Class from Soundbooth Theater.
