Amazing books with great characters and the person that reads the books makes it very easy to listen to. I can’t wait for the future books in this series.
Everything about this book, the narration of it, the writing of it, the flow of the actual story the ark of the characters the build up the action scenes the comedy lands and it’s not oversaturated and it’s just an amazing book. Super excited to start the series and super grateful that it started off..
But this time I couldn’t listen closely cause I found the mimic and elf voice to be unyieldingly abrasive, I tried to give it an honest shot at liking this series, I think both the voice actor and author are talented, I have several books narrated by Jeff Hayes. And I think the story line..
We return to our favorite royal court in book 2 and it does not disappoint. We start learning more about this new world/universe. The characters stay true to themselves in the way that we love.
I love this make it an anime I would watch this whole thing I want it in the invincible style gore and all
An overall great read, with my only concern being how this might come across to someone who isn’t super connected to modern internet and gaming terminology.
I was enjoying the clever, charismatic protagonist so I don’t appreciate the spotlight shift to a less compelling character.
This one felt like a filler episode, but was still really great. Compared to the first one, it’s 3 stars. Our narrator gets 5 stars. I’m excited to keep going in the series!
Every book is unique and the story never suffers. It just such a great series, great voice acting, you feel connected to the characters, all of it. Simply amazing
