The book suffers from having too many characters and plotlines going on at the same time. The scenes are mostly great and the book comes together in the second part but this is probably the weakest DCC book yet. This book is a phenomenal payoff to books worth of foreshadowing and character development. The litrpg genre is som what new to me but it’s archetype in this example is a perfect container for the kind of heroes journey that made fall in love with stories and audiobooks in general. Great voice acting as usual. Incredible story, twists, turns, moments of suspense and drama mixed with humor and love. I can’t recommend the series enough.
