If you have read books 1-6 this one is another gem. Different in the fact the crawlers are all fighting together, but still a lot of fun!!

Thrillingly entertaining from start to finish. First time I’ve looked up videos of a voice actor – great performance

If you cut out the “smut” and anything to do with the female characters, it is an interesting story. Anything related to the female characters reads like it was written by the stereotypical WoW nerd in his basement and really takes you away from anything going on.

Voice performance was spectacular. I buy the audio books of the DCC just for the audio story experience

The performance—the INTRIGUE Dinniman…the character arcs happening almost the crazy main plot? Incredible storytelling. THE CREATIVITY!!!! Soundbooth Theater is amazing!! I cannot recommend their performance enough.

Debated whether or not to buy this installment. The winnowing of the cast is antithetical to my usual taste in community building stories. And some cast gets wiped out but they’re trying their best which helps. And Princess Donut goes Full Dance/Pageant Mom on Mongo which is delightful. Glad I got it. This is my favorite book so far! There is a lot of good storytelling and it dives deeper into multiple crawlers during the book. Great listen!

So….The description in Audible doesn’t really describe the book very well because it turns out the story is about an overpowered mimic that is stupidly smart, ridiculously lucky, that (of course) does everything right, enjoys very graphically eating people/things and is perpetually protected by plot armor….with some succubus sex and harem fantasy thrown in to..
