I made it this far and was excited to listen to this new book on level 9, but it got about 3x more complicated. The characters, plots, magic, cities, side stories, etc just got more and more confusing. I found myself thinking constantly, ‘what the heck is going on?’ Plus the story only moved slightly…

So, obviously not your typical magical girl story. (Unless you like Puella Magi Madoka Magica) The characters were well fleshed out and the narration was really well done. The worldbuilding was really good for such a quick book as well. Thank you Ravensdagger and Soundbooth Theater for this little gem.
