Haven’t started book six yet. Just needed to take a moment right when I finished this book to come leave a review saying how amazing it is. The humor, action, and SEVERAL times my jaw actually dropped (especially at the end) made this book an outstanding journey. Five stars just isn’t enough.
Call it a guilty pleasure if you need to, but this book is fantastic. Once you settle in and realize that this isn’t some High Fantasy to be taken super seriously, there’s a fantastic story to be told, by one of the best narrators I’ve heard in a long while.

However. Take a shot everytime he uses it and you will die of alcohol poisoning before chapter 2. This entire series would be 100% better without the porn. The porn makes it seem like this author is either a teenager who has never pleasured a woman, or an incel. And I call it porn because..

I loved how the characters developed and grew together. The voice actors are great too. Adair sounds as gruffy as I imagined.
