story was satisfying and left me wanting more. Chester is the greatest, and Soundbooth Theater makes every book incredible to listen to.
Jeff Hays is an entertaining one man show. He sounds a lot like Patrick Warburton as Carl, and magnificent as Princess Donut. The other voices are great too. The story is fun and exciting, with several clever and funny moments I won’t spoil. The boss encounters are well done, and I enjoyed the emergent behavior..
I really liked the idea of a mimic as a companion. The Mimic was funny and a good edition to the main character’s vibe. Liked the world building and enjoyed that it wasn’t just about fighting and leveling
So good. So much fun. Hilarious idea and story. Loved every minute. Donut and Mongo are going to make this series everything.

Solid book in a solid series. I wasn’t expecting the story to take the direction it did, or the current arc to end this quickly. I enjoyed most of the book. There is a section toward the end that is a bit to idk fever dream/nonsensical “story-like”. It makes more sense by the ending. Its..
This book is very thought provoking and a great connection to the Confessions of St. Augustine. I would recommend it.
