after book 3 it just drags focusing too much on minute details after having a strong fast pace in the first couple books. some characters don’t evolve properly and what is cute or funny for a couple books becomes redundant and annoying quickly.author over uses profanity book 6 was just awful

Best so far. No notes. All the love to Matt and Jeff. Damn…it wasn’t enough that they previously stole enough of Chekov’s Guns to start a gun convention, but then they went and looted his coffin and his corpse…and his mom’s corpse… and I’m sure there are a ton more laying in wait. Can’t wait..

If you have ever played a role-playing game or a classic tabletop like D&D, you will appreciate the hilarity and casual reading experience this book provides. It is a fantastic read for anyone familiar with the genre.

This may have been the best audiobook I’ve ever discovered! The narration is truly top tier. I decided my 2026 reading journey would consist of me branching out into unfamiliar genres, and I certainly hit that goal with this story! I never knew what to expect.
