Fun and highly addictive series! The story is entirely original, very lighthearted at times and other times quite serious! Very enjoyable!

GOD DAMMIT DONUT!!!! A must listen. Jeff Hays is easily one of the top narrators I’ve listened to in my decade plus on audible.

In the same vein as the Murder Robot series, this book is silly, irreverent, violent, and fun! I’m looking forward to listening to book two.

Whew! What a ride! Absolutely hilarious moments, pop culture references and other things that truly got me interested long enough to save the whole series in my wishlist!! Definitely a great read!

As a Gen Xer who grew up on D&D, this book was the scratch for the itch I did not know that I had. A boy did it feel good!!

Still an amazing read this many books in. Great reading and story development. Most books like this tend to make the main character super powered by now. The book is still developing steady with Carl being exceeded by others.
