I think this book is unique. I enjoy the humor, plot, characters, and Chester. It has the potential to be a multi book series. Of which, I hope it does.

This is the second book in a terrific series! Unforgettable characters. Noir humor. Unexpected twists on supernatural notions. What a combination! Shami must be quite a character herself and I can’t wait for more from her!!

I enjoyed the books. The card system, and the characters were all well fleshed out. The only character I didn’t enjoy as much was the one who felt a bit like Hermione. The book ends abruptly and there is no book three yet.
