once again another fantastic tale of Carl and donut in the dungeon. I’m really happy to see he’s fleshed out all of the side characters too and gone on with some of their stories and make them all into one family. I really like Biggins. whoop whoop

Another excellent book in a great series. I really enjoy all that this offers. The world becomes more established. And it’s just fun perfect. The narration is awesome.

loved the voice actors and the non stop action! looking forward to the next book.
Heard some people on my socials talking about so thought I would give it a try. I’m glad I did! It’s a cheeky book with an interesting scenario. It’s a little bit like running man, a little bit like Mars attacks, and a little bit like a Duke Nukem game.
I usually reserve 5* ratings for books that hit the full emotional spectrum but this series is so refreshingly original, funny and has fantastic voice acting!
I usually don’t enjoy storylines where everything bad constantly happens to the main character, and this one really leaned into that. The performance by Jeff and the rest of the cast is what kept me listening — they did an outstanding job bringing the story to life. I might continue with the next book, but..
Jeff does an amazing job acting out all the characters. Some accents sounded different to me than what the story may have been trying for. Also, I’m assuming there was a guest appearance for the train conductor as the voice dialogue, though not terrible, was not on Jeff’s level. It kept throwing me off. Regardless..
Honestly, I wasn’t sure how to go about reading this one. The lewd romantasy theme was obviously apparent from the title, cover, and description, but I wasn’t sure just how outrageous it would be. It was outrageous, but in a really good way. There are a few spicy scenes, starting off with some lewd descriptions..
I love all the books in this series but this one could have been split up into two books. It was such a build up to floor 9 and felt a little rushed. Too much going on at once made it feel like major plot points didn’t matter as much and disconnected.
